Nadir Adlı was born in Edirne in 1955. He is a graduate of Istanbul Atatürk Education Institute Painting-Art. He worked in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Edirne State Fine Arts Gallery between 1987 and 2004. After taking classes from Vahdet Malik, he did important works to improve this art, and worked hard to increase the use of local design. Adlı continues giving classes at various institutions and producing new works. Dilek Kutlu, Pınar Ulusoy and Işıl Talaşmanlı are the students Adlı trained.
