Nagihan Tekin was born in 1978. She graduated in 1995 from high school with a focus on hand and machine embroidery. She has been engaged in the art of traditional embroidery for many years and works as a master instructor, having trained numerous students. She practices traditional techniques such as "tel kırma" (metal thread breaking) and "tel sarma" (metal wrapping). She holds an official Artisan Identity Card issued by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Since 2015, she has participated in numerous traditional festivals and cultural events. Currently, she continues her work at her personal workshop located in İnegöl Bazaar on İnönü Street in Bursa, where she also works with her students.
