Zehra Çetingül was born in 1995 in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. She graduated with an associate degree in Food Technology from Afyonkarahisar Vocational School in 2016. Combining her interest in traditional Turkish handicrafts with the art of telkırma (metal thread embroidery), she began producing works in this field in 2014. In 2017, she received training from master artisan Çiğdem Duruer, further developing her skills in telkırma. Specializing in Albanian-style and handcrafted dowry textiles, Çetingül has been continuing her work in her own workshop since 2017. Having participated in various national and international events, she currently continues her artistic production at her studio in Afyonkarahisar, contributing to the promotion of telkırma through both exhibitions and social media.
