Born in 1966 in the Isabey district of Denizli, Kızıl worked as a craftsman in welding and wrought iron between 1980 and 1996, and from 1996 on, he started to work in the textile sector. Kızıl started making various birdhouses and toys from wood in 2017 after his retirement and he tries to raise awareness about traditional toy making by presenting these toys to nurseries and schools in Denizli. He was given the Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer Artist Promotion Card by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2021.
