Born in 1991 in the Konak district of Izmir, Turhan has been interested in wood arts since 2016 and wood carving since 2019, having produced nearly six hundred artworks. Turhan was awarded the Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer Artist Identification Card in the field of traditional handicraft wood carving by the General Directorate of Research and Education of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2023, continues to produce artworks in his workshop and exhibition shop in Manisa and participates in various exhibitions and events.
