The Masters of Turkey Project, which started out as the Masters of Istanbul Project and continued with the Masters of Turkey Marmara Region Project, has now been launched for the Aegean Region.

This new project will be carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and include 11 cities of the Marmara Region (Balıkesir, Bilecik, Bursa, Çanakkale, Edirne, Istanbul, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Tekirdağ, Yalova), and 8 cities of the Aegean Region (Afyonkarahisar, Aydın, Denizli, Izmir, Kütahya, Manisa, Muğla, Uşak).

The project, in which artisans, workshops, universities, non-governmental organizations and institutes in the field of traditional Turkish arts and crafts will take part, aims to compile an inventory that enables address identification.
