Sabri Özşahin was born in Sakarya in 1947. He has been performing wood art, which he learned from his father and his grandfather, for sixty years. He has an Ahi (a Turkish-Islamic guild) Certificate given by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He participated in many fairs and festivals both at home and abroad, and continues his works at Taraklı Culture House.
