Gülşen Eryüksel was born in Istanbul in 1961. She took illumination classes from Aynur Göksu between 1990-1994, miniature classes from Leyla Kara under the supervision of Taner Alakuş at the Classical Turkish Arts Center at Yıldız Palace Şale Kiosk in 2010. Many of her works were deemed worthy of exhibition in many competitions, she won second prize in Hediyem (means ‘my present’) Istanbul competition organized by Culture Co. in 2016. Eryüksel has been receiving training from Leyla Kara at Sertarikzade Cultural Center since 2014 and giving miniature classes at the same institution.
