Born in 1985 in the Bergama district of Izmir, Aymaz studied at Zonguldak Karaelmas University Faculty of Education. In 2010, Aymaz was introduced to parchment and started to produce the parchments from raw leather in 2014. Before that, she was using ready-made parchments in her works. Aymaz, who created products in various forms and shapes by making drawings and paintings on parchments in their original colour, improved her skills with the suggestions and guidance of Macit Gönlügür, parchment master Demet Sağlam and Ismail Araç, the last blacksmith of Anatolia, who has the UNESCO Living Human Treasure title. Aymaz has given interviews on television programmes about her art and has participated in fairs. She is married and has two children.
