Born in Zawiya, Libya in 1979, Hüzmeli started to make mosaic art with the stones, ceramics and wooden pieces she collected at the age of 10. From the age of 11 onwards, she learnt the subtleties of mosaic art for many years in the workshop of Antakya’s first mosaic master. Hüzmeli trained many students and apprentices in her workshop in Antakya Epifania, and designed not only classic, but also three-dimensional mosaics. Hüzmeli participated in various exhibitions in Türkiye and abroad, and carried out workshops for primary and high school students and disabled individuals. Hüzmeli, who continues to design three-dimensional mosaics in her workshop in Selçuk Efes, Izmir, where she settled after the Antakya earthquake, continues to train new students.
