İlknur Güneş Dağ, born in 1981, graduated from Uludağ University İznik Vocational School in 2006. He worked as the assistant of Ceramic Artist and Academician Turgut Tuna. She started producing her first works in the tile, jewelry, accessory workshop she opened in Istanbul in 2009. Dağ returned to İznik in 2010 and continued her traditional tile works by joining the evani and kaşi (types of tile art) group. The students she trained are Yasemin Bayram and Nilgün Akın.
