Kemal Berbergil was born in 1955. He is a graduate of the Electricity Department of Industrial Vocational High School and retired from TEK. He has been continuing his work for about seventeen years with his chainsaw, which he started as a hobby. He has been working on calligraphy and naht, and has also worked on mother-of-pearl and kat’ı. His most recent work was Ayet-el Kürsi, in the form of a pearl-coated tulip on wood.
