Kılıç was born in 1970 in Osmaniye, where she completed her primary, secondary and high school education. She graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Science, Department of Astronomy and Space Sciences. She was introduced to the art of tile in 2008, and started her tile art training with Feriha Esmer. She took courses from Kerim Keçecigil and Nazlı Pınar Yerin. She participated in two group exhibitions in 2009 and 2010. Kılıç prepared her first solo exhibition called “From Altai to the Danube, From Baykal to Ural”, by transferring traditional clothes, paintings and patterns from various regions of the Turkish World to tiles, as well as classic tiles. This exhibition was exhibited in many institutions. On April 25 2015 she participated in the “Peace Honeycombs” exhibition as the representative of tile art, which was supported by Çanakkale Municipality, and consisted of 1000 artworks in 1000 honeycombs by artists from all over the world. Kılıç is registered as an Intangible Cultural Heritage Carrier of Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism with number YB2017.0221. She continues to work as a tile art teacher at Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Vocational Training Courses, BELMEK. Kılıç is married, and has two children named Türkay Tuna and Ural Kağan.
