Emine Burçin yılmaz was born in Istanbul in 1981. She continues her illumination training at Hüseyin-Emel Türkmen Art House, and still illuminates her graduation hilya. Yılmaz, who participated in many exhibitions, won honorable mention in the competition organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 2009 themed Istanbul, and fifth prize in el-Burde Competition organized in Dubai in 2011.
