Emine Can Nalbantoğlu was born in 1965 in Sakarya. Nalbantoğlu is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics of Anadolu University and continues her graduate studies at Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts Faculty. In 1990, she started taking khatt and illumination classes, organized by the Turkish Literature Foundation. From 1992 to 1993, she continued her training with Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Illumination courses organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourisim in Topkapı Palace Museum, and took classes from Cahide Keskiner, Semih İrteş, Mamure Öz and Münevver Üçer. Nalbantoğlu, who opened Mine Art House in 2009, participated in many exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. She won 3rd prize in Hediyem Istanbul Turkish Traditional Arts Illumination Competition. Işıl Kengir and Necla Ünker are the students trained by the of the artist.
