Firdevs Bakkal was born in 1978 in Trabzon. She graduated from the Sabancı Maturation Institute with two years of education on Fashion Design. She took classes from Fatma Özçay (two years) and Arda Çakmak (two years) at Classical Turkish Arts Foundation starting from 2008. She won the first prize in Al-Burda Illumination Competition organized by United Arab Emirates in 2016. Her works are in many collections both in Turkey and aborad.
