 Hale Nur Bakkal was born in Istanbul in 1984. She is a graduate of Üsküdar Imam Hatip High School. Bakkal took classes from Fatma Özçay at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation for four years after 2008, and continues her studies with Özçay. She won a prize in illumination branch in 17^th State Decorative Arts Competition, and participated in various exhibitions. Bakkal’s works are in many collections both at home and abroad.
