Meliha Yekeler was born in Çorum in 1971. She is a graduate of Sakarya University Theology Faculty. Yekeler has been taking illumination classes from Emel Türkmen since 2006. Her classical illumination works took part in various competitions and exhibitions both at home and abroad. She won achievement award in the 17^th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
