Nur Nevin Akyazıcı was born in Giresun. She graduated from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Illumination-Miniature Department in 1998. Akyazıcı took classes from Uğur Derman, Çiçek Derman, İnci A. Birol, Muhittin Serin and Gülnur Duran during her university years. She participated in many exhibitions both at home and abroad. Akyazıcı is still a founding member of Group Nokta, which was founded under the leadership of İnci A. Birol. She gives classes as an assistant instructor at the illumination courses at Kubbealtı Academy Culture and Art Foundation.
