Rüveyda Şener was born in Istanbul in 1988. She graduated from Istanbul University Theology Faculty in 2016. In 2006, she started taking illumination classes from Nilüfer Kurfeyz at History and Nature Foundation. In 2010, she completed her studies under the supervision of Nilüfer Kurfeyz and Selim Sağlam at the training unit of TBMM Department of National Palaces. She received her license from Kurfeyz and Sağlam, and continued her illumination studies. Şener has participated in many group exhibitions both at home and abroad.
