Hatice Uzun was born in Ankara in 1963. She started taking illumination classes from Mamure Öz in 1989, and continued until 2003 with Mamure Öz and Semir İrteş at Sema Workshop, and received a course completion certificate from Mamure Öz. In 2001, she studied khatt with Savaş Çevik at Tuze Art House. Uzun, who also took miniature classes from Orhan Dağlı, participated in Hikmet Barutçugil’s marbling lessons in 2014. She took her illumination certificate from Reza Hemmatirad in 2017, and still continued her studies with him. Many works of the artist are exhibited in various group exhibitions.
