Havva Bayraktar was born in Ankara in 1970. She studied Thelogy and Turkish Language and Literature. Bayraktar started her art training in 2000, took illumination classes from Önder Kaldım, marbling classes from Meral Özcan, khat classes from Doğan Çilingir. She has been studying miniature with Berrin Çakin Güç since 2011. Bayraktar participated in many group exhibitions and projects both at home and abroad. She took part in marbling branch in the competition organized by the General Directorate for Foundations in 2008 themed Water Civilization; in European Capital of Culture Agency – Classical Turkish Arts Foundation Erguvan Istanbul Project in 2010; in the Face of Istanbul Collection of the same project in 2011; and in miniature branch in Istanbul Classical Arts Center – Istanbul Khatt Museum The Face of Turkey Collection in 2013. Bayraktar won exhibition prize in miniature branch in the 17^th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition organized in 2013.
