Nuran Öztürk was born in Istanbul in 1982. She studied at Marmara University (MU) Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Illumination Miniature Department, completed her graduate studies at MU Institute of Fine Arts Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Program in 2009, and has been doing her proficiency in art (doctorate) since 2015. Öztürk took illumination classes from Çiçek Derman and Gülnur Duran, miniature classes from Şehnaz Özcan and Berrin Çakin Güç, khatt classes from Muhittin Serin. She participated in many group exhibitions. Öztürk produces her miniature works by blending classical and modern perspectives; and her illumination works with classical styles. She continues her artistic works at her workshop.
