Raif Aydın was born in 1965. He graduated from Istanbul University Communication Faculty in 1986. Aydın worked as a manager in journalism and other departments until 2009, he has a Continuous Press Card, and is a member of Turkey Journalists’ Association. He took classes from Taner Alakuş at the Classical Turkish Arts Center and İSMEK Turkish-Islamic Arts Specialization Center between 2009-2011, and participated in project works. Aydın gave miniature classes at the Classical Turkish Arts Center between 2011-2017, and continues giving training courses and workshops. He participated in many exhibitions, and his works are in many state and private collections. Aydın won an award in miniature branch in the 16^th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2011.
