Suzan Çataloluk was born in Tokat in 1951. She studied at Ankara University Faculty of Law, and did her graduate studies on “Juvenile Delinquency” at Hacettepe University Intitute of Social Sciences. Çataloluk graduated from Uludağ University Education Faculty Fine Arts Panting-Craft Department in 2015. She worked as a legal advisor at the Prime Ministry, as a judge and a district attorney in various regions of Turkey, and retired from being an academician. Çataloluk started giving illumination and miniature classes at the Bursa Branch of Turkish Hearths, and trained many students at her workshop. Emine Gençtan, Elif Pehlivan and Fikriye Cinci are the students that she gave licenses to. She has been a permanent member of Süheyl Ünver Art Workshop since 1976. Çataloluk focused her works mainly on the art of miniature.
