Taner Erdem was born in Amasya in 1968. He dropped out of Faculty of Law of Marmara University in his last year. He started working on calligraphy in 1989. He teaches calligraphy at the Avcılar Public Education Center. Taner Erdem, which has many unique designs, opened many personal exhibitions in the country and participated in integrated exhibitions. He continues his works in his workshop in Avcılar.
