Hilal Çiftçi was born in Istanbul in 1987. She is a graduate of Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration. She started taking marbling classes from Meryem Beğen at İSMEK in 2008, and continued with Mahmut Peşteli in 2010. Çiftçi participated in “MEŞK 2015 Marbling” exhibition with Mahmut Peşteli and her friends at the workshop, and received her license from Peşteli. Çiftçi still continues her marbling studies with Mahmut Peşteli.
