Esen Akgöl was born in Adana in 1980. She is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University School Teaching Department and works as a school teacher in Eyüp Sultan. Akgöl started working on marbling in 1998, and started taking classes from Firdevs Çalkanoğlu in 2011. She received her license from Firdevs Çalkanoğlu at the exhibition “The Flowers of Heaven” in 2012.
