İbrahim Hakkı Yiğit was born in Kırşehir in 1972. He did his undergraduate studies at Yildiz Technical University (YTU) Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture, and his graduate studies at YTU Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Architecture and Structure Physics. Yiğit received his marbling license from Fuat Başar in 2002, and took khatt classes from Prof. Ali Alparslan and Davut Bektaş. He has been collecting old and new, quality Turkish and European marbling works since 2000. Yiğit participated in the book published by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Culture Co. in 2007 named “Mustafa Esat Düzgünman and Marbling” with his collection, and as a photo editor. He continues his works and gives classes at Gallery Kalem Güzeli and Hatip Marbling Workshop he founded in 2005.
