Ali Özden was born in Bursa in 1971. He is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Özden started studying thuluth and naskh with Mahmut Şahin in 2004, and received his license in 2010. He continues his artistic works at Bab-ı Nun Traditional Arts and Culture Association. The student Özden trained is Latif Gürağaç.
