Celal Akdemir was born in 1952 in Sivas. He graduated from The Graphic Design school in 1975. Since after he retired, took khatt lessons from Hasan Çelebi Hoca. Akdemir took certificates of rika, nesih and sülüs writing styles of khatt. He still continues his works on graphic design and art of khatt.
