Hülya Akmehmet Tuzcuoğlu was born in Rize in 1965. She took illumination classes from Aysun Ercan Mert in 2007, miniature classes from Dilek Yerlikaya in 2008. Tuzcuoğlu, who participated in various group exhibitions and projects, won exhibition prize in the 17^th and 18^th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competitions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and in the Masters of the Future Competition organized in 2014. She continues her miniature studies with Dilek Yerlikaya.
