Serap Derinkök was born in 1967. She is a graduate of METU Faculty of Architecture. Derinkök started taking miniature classes from Taner Alakuş in 2006; won third prize in the Masters of the Future Competition organized in 2015, first and fourth prize in 7 Hills 7 Arts Contest. She won an exhibition prize with one of her works in the 18^th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2015. Derinköy, who held various personal and group exhibitions, continues her artistic works at Taner Alakuş Miniature Workshop.
