Asuman Coşkun was born in Istanbul in 1976. She graduated from Kadir Has High School in 1993. She took illumination classes at Emel Türkmen Workshop between 2004-2008, and received her license at İSMEK. Coşkun, who participated in various exhibitions, was awarded for her work titled “The Prayer” (Dua) in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism 15^th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition in 2009, and for her work titled “With Love” (Sevgiyle) in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism 16^th State Turkish Decorative Arts Competition. She continues her illumination works at her own workshop and at Birlik Foundation.
