Demet Uzun, born in 1957, is a graduate of Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration. She started taking illumination classes from Selam Başcı in 2004, and continued her training with Memnune Birkan and Zehra Çelik. She received her license from Birkan. Uzun held many personal exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions.
