Esma Yücebıyık was born in Kastamonu in 1964. She studies at open education high school. Yücebıyık started her illumination training with Cemile Baybura at Caferağa Madrassah in 2003, and has been continuing with Mamure Öz at Üsküdar Nakkaş Decorative Arts Center since 2006. She regularly participates in the exhibitions organized every two years at Nakkaş Decorative Arts Center.
