Fatma Esra Altındoğan was born in Istanbul in 1966. She is a graduate of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Economics Department. She studied Turkish Music Theory for four years at Istanbul University State Conservatory. Altındoğan, who started her studies on tile in 1991 with the contributions of Cahide Keskiner, took classes from Sabiha Koç. She completed the tile course opened in 2005 by the Culture and Tourism Ministry at Aziz Berker Public Library, and participated in many group and personal exhibitions in various locations in Turkey. She has been continuing her khatt training with Ahmet Kutluhan for four years and continues her works at Keskiner Workshop.
