 Feyza Şen was born in Istanbul in 1976. She began her illumination studies at Birlik Foundation in 1995 by taking lessons from Serap Bostanci. She attended the Topkapi Palace Turkish Decorative Arts Course in 1997 and took classes from from masters like Mamure Oz, Semih Irteş, Serap Bostanci, Melek Antel, Sevim Kayaoğlu and Birsen Gökçe. She completed her studies in here in 1999 and received a certificate. After taking flower painting and miniature classes from Orhan Dağlı, she continued her miniature training at İSMEK between 2006 and 2009 and acquired her certificate. Since 2009, Şen continues to take miniature classes from Reza Hemmatirad at the Istanbul Design Center.
