Leman Güvenkaya, born in 1983, is a graduate of Karadeniz Technical University Ordu Vocational School Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Department. She held her first personal art exhibition at Lüleburgaz Sokullu Complex in 2012, and held many exhibitions in Büyükkarıştıran and Lüleburgaz and exhibited her various illumination, miniature, khatt, wood burning, glass painting, wood gilding, embellishment works were exhibited. She applied the traditional handicrafts techniques on different objects like pots, ostrich eggs, decorative furniture surfaces. Güvenkaya worked as a ceramic expert in the Department of Restoration in the excavations of The Ancient City of Parion in Çanakkale.
