Leyla Adal was born in Kocaeli in 1989. She is a graduate of Sakarya University Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Arts Illumination Department. She took illumination and pattern design classes from Prof. Ayşe Üstün, Res. Asst. Ayşen Karakoç, Res. Asst. Alev Demirkesen and Assoc. Prof. M. Hülya Doğru, and has been continuing her illumination training with Nazlı Durmuşoğlu. She worked as an illumination instructor at Körfez Public Education Center between 2013 and 2016. Adal participated in many group exhibitions both at home and abroad.
