Şadiye Yıldırım Hacıoğlu was born in 1958. She did her undergraduate and graduate studies at Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Architecture. Hacıoğlu took ruq’ah, jali thuluth and thuluth classes from Betül Bilgin and Fuat Başar in 1990. She graduated from Topkapı Palace Traditional Arts Illumination Department in 2000. Hacıoğlu continues her artistic studies with Mamure Öz and Semih İrteş at Sema Workshop and Nakkaş Decorative Arts Foundation.
