Züleyha Minga was born in Istanbul in 1979. She is a graduate of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Theology Associate Degree Program. Minga started studying illumination with Necati Sancaktutan in 1999, and completed her training at Topkapı Palace Illumination Course between 2001-2003. She studied illumination with Serap Bostancı, and took classes from Sabiha Koç at the Classical Turkish Arts Center at Yıldız Palace Şale Kiosk between 2005-2007. Minga has been continuing her studies with Emel Türkmen since 2007.
