Duygu Bayramoğlu was born in 1984. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of History at Istanbul University in 2006. During her student years, she worked for four years as a student assistant affiliated with the university rectorate. After completing her master’s degree at Istanbul University, she obtained pedagogical formation training and began her teaching career in private educational institutions. Following her academic career, she served for three years as an academic vice director. After taking a break from institutional professional life, she continues her career as Corporate Communications Manager at ADMTax Partners. Bayramoğlu began studying the art of Kâtı’ in 2019 and has been receiving training for the past six years from State Artist Ayşe Kiraz. In 2022, two of her works were exhibited at the Ankara Vakıf Works Museum. In the same year, she participated in the Hasbahçe Group Kâtı’ Exhibition. In May 2024, her works titled Key and Basmala were exhibited at the exhibition “Ornamentation from Paper: Kâtı’”. In 2024, she was awarded an Exhibition Prize in the Kâtı’ category at the 22nd Traditional Turkish Arts Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for her work titled “This Too Shall Pass.” Continuing her practice both independently and within the Caferağa Campus of the Turkish Culture Service Foundation, the artist produces works in both traditional and contemporary styles. She has also received training in acrylic painting techniques from illumination artist Eda Şahan.
