I was born in Bursa in 1975. During my secondary education, I first worked in the jewelery workshop during the summer holidays until the end of my high school education at the workplace of my uncle who repairs and sells antique and handicraft tourist items in the following years. Later, I opened a tie-and-dye workshop called Ecem İpek. I made salting and binding tie-and-dye on silk fabrics for 2 years and sold them domestically and abroad. Then I opened a workshop that made wood carved furniture and repairing. We started to work with 4 craftsmen who carved here, after completing my military service, rented an old bathhouse which was built in 1480, and after for 5 months of restoration, I was engaged in buying and selling of old and new products of gilding, miniature, sculpture, copper work, filigree, mother-of-pearl inlay, felt, carpet rug, silver jewelry, blown, tear and fusion glass, silk painting etc. to many state and Ministry of Culture artists and masters. Since 2010, I worked with 5 different felt workshops first as a contract for my own designs and then opened my own workshop. We are still serving as under the name of GÖÇEBELER silk felt to many brands, fashion designers and boutiques in Turkey and abroad as much as we can.
