Ardahanlı, who was born in Izmir in 1957, participates in symposiums, workshops and exhibitions on the art of yazmacılık (fabric decorating with special tools), which she learnt from masters from Tokat Atıf Arpacıoğlu and Hüseyin Er. She gives trainings in Güzelbahçe, Izmir. Ardahanlı has the title of Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the field of yazmacılık, is married and has one child.
