Aydan Birdevrim was born in 1963 in Bursa. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Ceramics Department. In 1993, She started to work as a lecturer for tile processing in Istanbul University Technical Sciences Vocational School, Glass and Ceramics Department. In 2004, she made special designs for Yıldız Porcelain Factory. Birdevrim, who has been participated in various exhibitions, workshops, projects, and seminars, opened sixteen personal exhibitions including two of them in abroad places. She contributed two different monumental statues in order to introduce the art of tiles with conducting international project called Tree of Peace. She made a project called Road of Peace for Istanbul University and Boğaziçi University Cultural River Istanbul 2010. She still continues to give lectures for ceramics and tiles program and continues her artistic works.
