I was born in Düzce in 1978. I graduated from Istanbul Technical University Civil Engineering Department. I studied on Structural and Earthquake Engineering both at my school and at a university in Germany and conducted academic researches. My two researches have been published in international journals. I continued my working life in the private sector and quit working after the birth of my second child. After dealing with sculpture and metalwork as a hobby, I fell in love with glass enamel and I trained myself in this field. In particular, I am working on the Cloisonne technique, in which silver wires are shaped according to patterns, filled with glass enamel and fired. One of my metal jewelry designs was published in a magazine in England in 2018. I am currently working on my glass enamel and silver works in a room of my house, which I have turned into a workshop. We share our works, experiences and problems in our social network groups with many professional jewelers from America, Russia and Europe who have been working on glass enamel for years. My goal is to start giving training lessons in glass enamel which is used all over world for centuries but faded and forgotten in our counrty Turkey.
