Meyçem Ezengin was born in Bursa in 1982. She graduated from Trakya University Martyr Painter Hasan Rıza Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Arts Department. She did her internship in Painter Mehmet Hakan Demirok Workshop, and developed her expertise in glass working, stained glass and mosaic fields. She worked as Mosaic Master Instructor at İSMEK between 2007 and 2015, and gave classes in the art workshop at Bahariye Mevlevihane (lodge used by mevlevi dervishes) between 2011 and 2016. She was a pioneer in the foundation of the “Mosaic Workshop” in Bülent Ecevit University Ereğli Vocational School, and will start giving Glass Mosaic classes there in 2017-2018 academic year. She worked as a project advisor in Our Living Heritage Seljuk Period exhibitions organized in Istanbul Bahariye Mevlevihanesi and Parliament Dolmabahçe Art Gallery and Konya Karatay Tile Works Museum, and also in the Building Blocks of Turkish Art Exhibition and Panel in Bülent Ecevit University. The artist, who participated in many exhibitions with her works, continues giving private classes at her workshop in Istanbul.
