Rengin Alkın was born in Eskişehir in 1965. She graduated from Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1987. She received training on glass decoration in 2005. She was registered as an “intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer” with the title of glass decoration artist in ‘nearly forgotten traditional arts’ branch after the evaluation by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2010.
