Deniz Kadıoğlu was born in 1964 in Diyarbakir. She started her art studies with the training she received from Nabi Kalender in İSMEK in 2007. Kadıoğlu, who took thuluth and naskh classes for three years, also took khatt classes from Mehmet Memis. She started studying sculpture with Timuçin Tanarslan in 2009 in İSMEK, and continued studying with Sculptor Fuat Basar and his assistant Hülya Demirel afterwards. Kadioglu is a student of Mahmut Peşteli, and she graduated from khatt and marbling arts in 2016 after three years of education. Beyzanur Bayburtlu is among the students of the artist, who still continues her works.
